INTRODUCTION OF GUAN YIN CITTA DHARMA DOOR

Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door, a Buddhist practice rooted in the Mahayana tradition of Buddhism, was founded by Master Jun Hong Lu. For over twenty years, Master Lu has been promoting and broadcasting the Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door over the radio and the Internet, without asking for any monetary returns. It provides a practical and effective way to apply the profound teachings of Buddhism to our everyday issues and difficulties, enabling people to arrive at a calm, peaceful state of mind in a world facing unprecedented global challenges.

It encourages people to recite Buddhist scriptures (sutras and mantras) on a daily basis, practice life liberation (that is, saving the lives of beings destined for slaughter), and make great vows to help more people. These three “golden practices” lay a solid foundation for improved physical and mental well-being; they have been proved to cure illnesses, resolve relationship conflicts and increase spiritual strength and wisdom

Besides that, Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door not only guides people to performing recitations, practicing self-cultivation, invoking the inner wisdom and help other people attain liberation through “Buddhism in Plain Terms”, but also strives to carry out Guan Yin Bodhisattva’s great compassion beyond boundaries to help the people cross over the sea of suffering. It has been able to reach over 10 million people in such a short period of time.

VEGETARIANS HAVE A LOWER RISK OF GETTING CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASES AND CANCER

Master Jun Hong Lu: Vegetarians have a lower risk of getting cardiovascular diseases. Research also shows that vegetarianism is beneficial for blood pressure, it reduces the risk of diabetes and cancer, and improves our digestive health.

As a matter of fact, it is not easy for meat to be digested in the human body, and it gets clogged up easily in our intestines. This is precisely how colon cancer comes about. Conversely, vegetarian food gets digested easily and hence, it has the effect of improving our digestive system. Vegetarians generally have good skin and a cheerful demeanor. On top of this, they have a lower risk of developing osteoporosis.
